I've decided to put up this blog not just to help usher in the new year 2009, but also as a form of celebration. The past year has definitely introduced a lot of changes for me, as is most probably the case with most people. A number would herald how it had been good to them, some would curse it to God-knows-what, while the rest would be indifferent.I am thankful to say that 2008 had been good to me overall. There were always the good stuff, as is the bad; life-changing decisions have been made, and I can say that I've really felt myself grow because of them.
I'm quite excited about how the next year will go. I'm expecting great things, and I guess one of the better ways for me to keep it all in check is through photographs: one of my first real loves, and still one of the things I love the most. I keep imagining myself with bustling photo albums of my past years, but I haven't really gotten to starting about it in a [tangible] manner.
So here I am. I plan on posting at least one photograph on this blog every day, as detailed by the regulations set in the 365 Days of 2009 Flickr group. It is meant as a way to chronicle this coming year, and also as a means to improve my photography and not let my creativity what-nots wither.
To whoever is reading this, I hope you enjoy the show as much as I know I'm going to enjoy making it. Please do leave comments and suggestions whereever you please, whenever you feel like it, but please keep it constructive.
To my sweet chingchingbaby, you really are the greatest that has ever happened to me. This is for you.

good luck on your 365 photo project! im really excited for you! you know that i'll be here to support you every step of the way.
ReplyDeletehere's to a brand new start for both of us! i love you.
I wish I have all the time in the world to do this seriously. AND, I wish I had a cam to do this with. HAHAHA. But then again, what with my current situation, all you'll ever see is a photo of my dang self, all faces, all throughout the year XD
ReplyDeletethe photo manips are not required actually :p it's just kind of my insecurity, to spice up my images since all i have is a PAS camera.
